Our services include online consultations, prescription fulfillment, and in-person consultations where necessary. Trim Healthcare is committed to offering accessible, affordable healthcare services while complying with all applicable regulations.

2. Definitions

In this document, the following definitions apply:
– ‘Patient’ refers to the individual using our services.
– ‘Consultation’ refers to the provision of healthcare advice by a qualified professional, either online or in-person.
– ‘Prescription’ refers to the authorization for medication given by a healthcare professional.

3. Liability Clause

3.1 General Liability

Trim Healthcare accepts responsibility for the care provided to patients within the limits of our services. However, we will not be liable for any loss or damage (in contract, negligence, or otherwise) that is beyond our reasonable control or that does not arise directly as a result of our actions. In particular, we are not liable for:
– Loss or damage resulting from the provision of inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information by the patient during the consultation or ordering process.
– Any emotional distress or personal dissatisfaction caused by our services, unless resulting from proven negligence.
– Loss or damage related to business, trade, craft, or professional activities, as our services are intended for personal use only.

3.2 Medical Advice and Prescription Services

The information provided through our consultations is based on the accuracy of the patient’s responses and medical history. Trim Healthcare cannot be held responsible for any adverse consequences arising from incomplete or inaccurate information provided by the patient, including:
– Failure to disclose pre-existing medical conditions, current medications, or allergies.
– Failure to follow instructions provided by our clinicians regarding prescribed medication, treatments, or test kits.

3.3 Limitation of Liability

Our liability to you is limited as follows:
– We will not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, resulting from the use of our services.
– Trim Healthcare will not be responsible for any complications resulting from the misuse of medications, failure to follow medical advice, or improper handling of prescription products post-delivery.

3.4 Third-Party Liability

Trim Healthcare is not liable for any loss or damage arising from third-party services or delivery providers, including delayed or failed deliveries, unless expressly agreed otherwise.

3.5 Statutory Rights

Nothing in this clause affects your statutory rights as a consumer, including your right to receive care in accordance with the relevant healthcare regulations, including the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and General Medical Council (GMC) guidelines.

4. Service Terms

Trim Healthcare offers online consultations via secure digital platforms as well as in-person consultations when necessary.

Our qualified healthcare professionals include doctors, pharmacist independent prescribers, and nurse independent prescribers. They are registered with the General Medical Council (GMC), the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), and the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).

Prescriptions are issued following a consultation, and medications are dispensed under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Some medications, such as controlled substances, will not be prescribed through online consultations.

5. Payment and Refund Policies

Trim Healthcare accepts payments via major credit cards, PayPal, and other accepted methods displayed at checkout. Refunds are only applicable in specific circumstances, such as non-availability of a medication or cancellation before dispatch. Refunds may take up to five working days to process.

For subscription services, you will be automatically charged for repeat prescriptions as applicable. You can cancel your subscription at any time, but any medications already dispatched cannot be refunded.

6. Delivery and Shipping

We offer delivery within Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Next-day delivery is available for most products.

Refrigerated medications such as Mounjaro, Wegovy, and Saxenda are shipped with special packaging to maintain temperature control.

Trim Healthcare cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen parcels after delivery. It is the patient’s responsibility to provide a secure delivery address.

Some medications, such as emergency contraception, may only be available for collection from a pharmacy.

7. Patient Responsibilities

– Provide accurate and truthful information when registering and answering medical questionnaires.

– Do not register more than once or complete forms for anyone other than yourself.

– Follow the instructions provided for any prescribed medicines and test kits.

– Respect our clinicians and staff. Abusive behavior will not be tolerated.

– Notify us of any side effects or adverse reactions you experience from prescribed medications.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Trim Healthcare is committed to protecting your privacy and handling personal data in compliance with UK GDPR regulations. Your personal information, including health data, is processed securely and only used to provide healthcare services.

We have implemented technical and organisational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access or disclosure. However, we cannot guarantee absolute security, and you provide your data at your own risk.

9. Medical Disclaimers and Liability

Trim Healthcare’s online consultations are not a substitute for in-person medical assessments when needed. We take no liability for adverse effects arising from inaccurate information provided by patients or improper use of prescribed medications.

10. Product Availability and Pricing

Product availability may vary based on stock levels and legal restrictions. Prices are inclusive of VAT, unless stated otherwise, and may be subject to change. In case of pricing errors, Trim Healthcare reserves the right to correct them.

11. Governing Law and Healthcare Professional Roles

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Northern Ireland.

Trim Healthcare’s consultations are conducted by licensed healthcare professionals, including doctors, pharmacists, and diabetic/weight loss specialist nurses. All professionals involved in patient care adhere to the guidelines set by their regulatory bodies, such as the GMC and GPhC.

12. Patient Consent for Online Consultations

By using our online consultation services, you consent to the collection and use of your personal and medical data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You acknowledge that our consultations may result in prescriptions for off-label use where medically appropriate.
